Boedecker Lake
Next Float
Time: 1:00 pm Sunday, April 16, 2023, meet at the Boedecker Boat Ramp.
Host: Roger Faaborg, [email protected]
Location: To get to Boedecker Lake, take 1st Street west in Loveland, go past Wilson Avenue, and when you enter a circle, go 3/4 of the way around and head south on County Road 21 which is also called Cummings Avenue. You can't miss the intersection, because you enter a very small circle. Go about .5 mile south on CR21 and you will see the wildlife area on the west. There is a boat ramp and a primitive restroom. The road into the parking lot has a lot of pot holes so go slowly. See the map below.
Fees: There is no fee for Boedecker, but it is cared for by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, so you need to have a Colorado State Wildlife Area (SWA) Pass or a Colorado fishing license to boat. A habitat stamp is also needed.
