Cruise Director
Any member of Poudre Paddlers can plan and host a trip. If you are interested in hosting a trip, you become a Trip Coordinator. The Cruise Director is in charge of all the Trip Coordinators.
Duties of the Cruise Director
- The Cruise Director encourages members to coordinate all outings and events to include instructional, safety, day and overnight trips.
- The Cruise Director shall coordinate outings and events with other organizations.
- The Cruise Director will periodically solicit the membership for Trip Coordinator volunteers.
- The Cruise Director maintains the club calendar to advertise these outings and events to the membership.
- The Cruise Director shall provide Trip Coordinators any pre-outings guidance for proposed outings and trips.
- The Cruise Director shall encourage the membership to read the club’s Safety Requirements.
- The Cruise Director shall maintain a database of previous trips and corresponding Trip Coordinators. This database shall form the basis for the next season’s “Cruise schedule” along with Trip Coordinator volunteers.
